The carnival will also feature the "City Vs Country" Shield - a series of team pursuits for junior riders which will culminate in the awarding of the perpetual shield. The City kids won this by a whisker last year and the country teams will be out for revenge.
All riders must enter via the CSV website . If you are keen to be part of the madisons please enter the carnival through CSV AND also submit the form found on the Team Entry page. Note that in 2011 the Elite Men's Madison was oversubscribed and teams were selected on ability. Under 17 riders will need to show competency or supporting letters from their club or accredited coach.
